Belkin Router Login – Manage your Belkin router

You can change your WiFi name & password, set up a guest network, or change the default login password from the Belkin control panel.

The default Belkin router login IP is 192.168.1.1, and it doesn’t require a login password to access the panel.

Belkin Router Login

Belkin Router Login

Connect your computer to your router using a LAN cable and open a web browser. Go to http://192.168.1.1 and click on LOGIN to access the control panel.

The default password is blank; don’t enter anything in the Password field.

However, if you can’t log in using the blank password, you probably changed the password in the past.

In that case, you must reset your Belkin router to access the control panel.

Change Belkin WiFi Name & Password

Making any changes to your WiFi network will remove all connected devices from the network.

Click on Configuration

Log in to your router’s admin panel by following the above process. Click on Configuration from the navigation bar.

Belkin Connectivity

It takes you to the Connectivity section.

Belkin-Basic-Wireless-Settings

Click on WiFi from the left sidebar. It takes you to the Basic Wireless Settings page.

Change Belkin WiFi Name

Enter your preferred WiFi name in the Network Name (SSID) field. You can change the name for both networks.

Click on Save

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save

Go to Wireless Security

To change the WiFi password, click Wireless Security from the left sidebar.

Decide whether you want to change your 2.4GHz/5GHz or both networks’ WiFi passwords.

Change Belkin WiFi Password

Enter the new password in the Passphrase field and click Save.

Belkin Router Guest Network

Belkin routers support Guest Access. It’s a great way to share the internet connection with the guest without allowing them access to your main network.

Click on Configuration

After logging in to the control panel, click Configuration from the top navigation bar.

Select Guest Access

Click on WiFi from the left sidebar and select Guest Access from the menu.

Belkin Allow Guest Access

Select Allow Guest Access to enable this feature.

Enable Guest Network

Now select the 2.4GHz or 5GHz guest network. You can also select both networks for the guests.

Click on Change

The default password for the guest networks is guest. Click the Change button if you want to modify the password.

Change Belkin guest password

Enter a new password within 4-32 characters and click the Change button.

Belkin Guest Network

Enter the number of Total Allowed Guests and click Save

Belkin Router Change Admin Password

The default blank password is not safe. Anyone connected to the network can make changes to it if it’s not secured.

You can set up a custom password, and only you can log in using that password.

Click on Configuration

Once logged in to the Belkin control panel, click on Configuration from the top menu bar.

Click Administration from the left sidebar and go to the Password page.

Change Belkin Admin Password

Enter your admin password and re-type the same password to confirm. Click Save to change your Belkin admin password.

Reset Belkin Router

A reset can solve this issue if your router is not working correctly or you forgot the admin password.

Every router follows the same approach, and resetting a Belkin router takes only 15 seconds.

  1. Power on your router.
  2. Grab a paperclip or pin.
  3. Press and hold the reset button on the router’s reset side.
  4. All LEDs will blink if the reset is complete.

When you reset a router, it restores all factory default settings. And a brand new Belkin router doesn’t require an admin password.

Connect your device to the router and visit 192.168.1.1. Don’t enter any password; click Submit to access Belkin router’s control panel.
