If you show the bookmarks bar, the bar is visible on every tab. Otherwise, the bar is only visible on the New Tab page.

That’s why if you want to check or edit a bookmark, you must go to the Bookmarks Manager from the menu and manage it there.

Mobile bookmarks are very limited compared to the computer. You can’t even export or import bookmarks from the mobile version. You need a computer to handle bookmarks efficiently.

The bookmarks bar is a personal preference because you can always access it from a New Tab page.

If you need to take a lot of screenshots on Chrome, it’s ideal to hide the bookmarks bar. You may have some sensitive bookmarks which you won’t love to expose.
